Technology continues to shape how we live, work, and do business—but as innovation moves forward, it also raises an important question: what happens to all the electronic equipment once it reaches the end of its life?

This year, Envirocycle was proud to be one of the exhibitors at the World of Consumer Electronics Expo (WOCEE) 2026, held from August 5–8 at the SMX Convention Center Manila.

WOCEE is one of the Philippines’ leading technology and consumer electronics events, bringing together innovators, tech companies, and industry professionals to showcase the latest in digital innovation and emerging solutions.

For us at Envirocycle, it was more than just an exhibition. It was a chance to connect with the technology community and share a simple but important message: innovation and sustainability should move forward together.

Sharing Ideas Beyond the Exhibition Floor

Our Vice President of Technology & Marketing, Warren Carman, also had the opportunity to take part in two meaningful activities during the event.

He served as a judge for the ESCON Pitch Competition, where new ideas and innovative solutions from emerging entrepreneurs were presented and evaluated.

Warren also delivered a TEP Talk hosted by UP Circuit, where he spoke about the circular economy, e-waste recycling, and green technology solutions, and how these concepts are shaping the future of sustainable business and technology in the Philippines.

These conversations reflect something we strongly believe in at Envirocycle: technology doesn’t end when a device is replaced or upgraded. It continues through how we manage, recover, and recycle the materials inside it.

Building a More Circular and Sustainable Future

As businesses and organizations continue to adopt new technologies, the challenge of managing outdated and retired electronics becomes even more important.

This is where responsible e-waste management plays a critical role.

Through our services in IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), e-waste recycling in the Philippines, secure data destruction, and resource recovery, Envirocycle helps organizations manage their electronic waste in a way that is secure, compliant, and environmentally responsible.

Our participation at WOCEE 2026 was a reminder that the future of technology is not just about innovation—it’s also about responsibility.

We would like to sincerely thank the WOCEE team, UP Circuit, the ESCON Pitch Competition organizers, fellow exhibitors, speakers, and everyone who visited our booth and engaged with us during the event.

Technology will always move forward—but so should sustainability.
