Building a More Sustainable Community Through E-Waste Collection

On September 25, Envirocycle Philippines, Inc., in partnership with the Eugenio Lopez Foundation, Inc. (ELFI), Lopez Museum & Library, and Barangay Ermitaño of San Juan City, officially launched an E-Bin Program to help make responsible e-waste disposal more accessible to the community.

The program opened with a welcome address from ELFI, followed by a talk from Ms. Monica Dunton, Business Development Associate of Envirocycle Philippines, Inc., who discussed responsible e-waste management and the role communities can play in ensuring electronic waste is properly handled.

Envirocycle at WOCEE 2026: Where Technology Meets Sustainability

Technology continues to shape how we live, work, and do business—but as innovation moves forward, it also raises an important question: what happens to all the electronic equipment once it reaches the end of its life?

This year, Envirocycle was proud to be one of the exhibitors at the World of Consumer Electronics Expo (WOCEE) 2026, held from August 5–8 at the SMX Convention Center Manila.

WOCEE is one of the Philippines’ leading technology and consumer electronics events, bringing together innovators, tech companies, and industry professionals to showcase the latest in digital innovation and emerging solutions.

For us at Envirocycle, it was more than just an exhibition. It was a chance to connect with the technology community and share a simple but important message: innovation and sustainability should move forward together.

Sharing Ideas Beyond the Exhibition Floor

Our Vice President of Technology & Marketing, Warren Carman, also had the opportunity to take part in two meaningful activities during the event.

He served as a judge for the ESCON Pitch Competition, where new ideas and innovative solutions from emerging entrepreneurs were presented and evaluated.

Warren also delivered a TEP Talk hosted by UP Circuit, where he spoke about the circular economy, e-waste recycling, and green technology solutions, and how these concepts are shaping the future of sustainable business and technology in the Philippines.

These conversations reflect something we strongly believe in at Envirocycle: technology doesn’t end when a device is replaced or upgraded. It continues through how we manage, recover, and recycle the materials inside it.

Building a More Circular and Sustainable Future

As businesses and organizations continue to adopt new technologies, the challenge of managing outdated and retired electronics becomes even more important.

This is where responsible e-waste management plays a critical role.

Through our services in IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), e-waste recycling in the Philippines, secure data destruction, and resource recovery, Envirocycle helps organizations manage their electronic waste in a way that is secure, compliant, and environmentally responsible.

Our participation at WOCEE 2026 was a reminder that the future of technology is not just about innovation—it’s also about responsibility.

We would like to sincerely thank the WOCEE team, UP Circuit, the ESCON Pitch Competition organizers, fellow exhibitors, speakers, and everyone who visited our booth and engaged with us during the event.

Technology will always move forward—but so should sustainability.

Driving the Future of Green Technology in the Philippines

Registration agreement signing of Envirocycle Innovation Philippines Inc. as a PEZA-registered Green Technology company

The transition to a more sustainable future depends on businesses finding smarter ways to recover valuable resources and reduce waste. At Envirocycle Innovation Philippines Inc. , we’re proud to be part of that journey.

Our recent registration as a PEZA-registered Green Technology company marks an exciting milestone for both Envirocycle and the growing green technology sector in the Philippines. As featured in the Manila Standard, this recognition reflects the increasing importance of businesses that help recover valuable materials, reduce electronic waste, and support a more circular economy.

For our customers, this means partnering with a company that is recognised for delivering responsible and innovative recycling solutions. Through sustainable IT asset recovery, we help organisations securely manage end-of-life electronics, recover valuable resources, and minimise environmental impact—all while maintaining strict data security and regulatory compliance.

As more organisations strengthen their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments, responsible IT asset management is becoming an important part of achieving those goals. Working with the right recycling partner not only helps reduce waste but also demonstrates a genuine commitment to responsible business practices.
